7-8 okra ( cut into bite size pieces)
To grind
Toor dal - 1.5 tbs (saok in water for 10 min)
Ginger small piece
Green chilly- 2 (you can more if you want it more spicy)
Jeera - 1 tbs
coconut - 1 handful.
Grind the above into a smooth paste.
First add little oil and then add mustard seeds.
After mustard seeds splutter add okra. (add very little salt. to okra)
fry okra until it turns tender.
Meanwhile in seperate bowl add 3 ladleful yogurt and beat it without
any lumps. To this add the above ground mixture,salt and little turmeric powder.
Make sure okra is well cooked. Add this Yogurt and ground Mixture to okra.
Switch of the stove once the kozhambu starts to bubble all four sides.
Dont let the kozhambhu boil. It will spoil the taste.
To this add curry leaves and little bit of coconut oil.
Yummy morkuzhambu is ready.
You camn make this mor kuzhambu with carrot, white pumpkin, drumstick.
Parrupu urundai mor kuzhambu will be more tasty.
Just replace okra with pruppu urundai and add it to kuzhambu.
Paruppu urundai.
1 small cup channa dal. soak it water for 1 hr.
add 1 red chilly,little hing, and salt to the dal.
Grind to a coarse mixture.
Make into small balls. You can either steam or fry the balls and add it to kuzhambhu.
Drop few balls at a time otherwise it will absorb all the kuzhambu.
