Mumbai Tawa pulao
Ingredients
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 large onion, chopped
1 large capsicum, chopped (combo of red and green capsicum)
2-3 large tomatoes, chopped finely
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1-1/2 tbsp Pav Bhaji masala
1/2 cup boiled green peas
2-3 green chillies
about 2-1/2 cups cooked rice
fresh cilantro leaves
Method:
Heat the butter and oil in a pan Add jeera, after a few mins add onions, gg paste, chillies along with salt.
Add the chopped tomatoes , bell peppers along with little water. Cook in high heat for few minutes until the tomatoes becomes soft and mushy,reduce the heat. Add the spices and mix them well.
Add the rice and cilantro and peas. Quick toss for 2-3 mnts and serve hot
