Simple Chutney without Coconut
Ingredients1 tomato
1 small onion
5-6 green chilies
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves
1/2 tsp sugar
salt to taste
Tamarind concentrate -1 tsp (optional)
Method
1. Stir fry all the ingredients in very little oil...(except tamarind paste) so that the raw smell is gone.
2. Grind all the ingredients to a smooth paste, using little water if needed.
3. Adjust seasoning. U can also give talimp (usial of mustard, urad and dried red chillies)
** i have tried this even with sun dried tomatoes...instead of fresh ones... super aa irukum...
