Idli and dosa batter Ramya
My IDLI and Dosa batter proportion
Urad dal - Little less than 1 cup (say just below the rim of the cup) i used split urad
Idli Rava - 3 1/4 cup
Thick Poha - 1/4 cup
Soak the rava, poha together and urad seperately.... Grind the urad first.. u can add enough water to the urad to grind really nice..... Then squeeze out the water from the rava and grind it ...let it ferment overnite... i use indian mixie so my batter is not so thick like the ones we get from wet grinders... but once it ferments the batter comes to the right consistency.....
