Appam
urad dal - one spoon
methi seed - 1/2 tsp
Maida - 2 spoon
jaggery - 1/2 glass
Elaichi powder - one pinch
Oil - for frying
1. Soak rice,urad dal and methi seeds for 2 hrs
2. Blend the soaked mixture and jaggery in blender to soft idly bater patham
(Note - Remove water fully from soaked rice.. add very little water if needed)
3. Add maida and elaichi powder to the batter
4. Pour the batter in oil using a deep scoop.
5. Fry till the appam is brown
Maida is added to make appam puff and soft.
