Corn and Peas Pulav by Shobana

corn and peas pulav
soak req amt. of basmathi rice [min 1/2 hr]
take a pan, add oil, when oil is heated add cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, elaichi[optional],
then add onion and stir for some time, add ginger garlic paste[optional],
fry the GG paste till the raw smell goes if u add gg paste.
add req. number of green chillies,
then add the peas and corn, let it be in equal portion [eg. 1 cup corn, 1 cup peas],
then fry it for 2 mins, the add the soaked rice and again fry for 2 mins.
take this and put it in the electric rice cooker, add the req. amt of water [1;2, 1 cup basmathi rice - 2 cups water - this is what i do],
add the req. amt of salt, stir it and swithch on the cooker,
corn and peas pulav will be ready.
i usually buy the frozen corn and peas so the stirring time in the pan is less.
the pulav will have a liitle bit of sweet taste bcos of the corn.
