oats upma

in a kadai, heat oil, then add mustard seeds, hing, urad dal, green chilli, curry leaves, onion, then when onion becomes soft, add veggeis of ur choice, i add a handful of frozen veggeis which has beans, peas, carrot, corn, lima beans, then add water [ i add 1 1/4 cup-rice cooker cup], add salt and leave it for boil, since i use frozen veggies, they cook soon, then i add 1 cup of oats, then stir continuously till all the water cooks up with oats. oats upma ready.
if u wish u can add some lemon juice before serving and this upma has to be ate hot bcos when oats becomes cold, it becomes rubbery
and the consistencey of the upma will be like kichadi,
u can also add little sambar powder after adding onions.
