Simple 'n Healthy Chutney by Malathi

Simple 'n Healthy Chutney.

This is best for idli & dosai

Ingredients :

cooking oil - 1 tbsp
Kadalai paruppu - 1 tbs
pachai payaru - 1 tbsp
ulutham paruppu - 1 tbsp
kollu paruppu(horsegram) - 1tbsp
coconut (grated) - 6 tbsp
Green chilies - 5 (Thaevaikerpa)
puli - small piece
Karuvepilai - 5 leaves (Optional - if u have u can put)
manjal podi - 0.5 tsp
uppu - (Thaevaikerpa)

Procedure :
--------------
1. In a pan, put 1 tbsp of cooking oil, once oil is heated, put all paruppus one after the other in the order given given in the ingredients in half min interval for each paruppu. The order is important because thick paruppus will take more time to fry.
2. Once the paruppus have become little brown, put the grated coconut in it and fry for some more time, add tumeric also to it.
Note : This step is optional. I do this only for frozen coconuts and will not fry if I use fresh coconut.
3. Once the fried stuff is cooled add green chillies, puli & karuvepilai, add water and grind it in the blender.
5. Finally add the required salt to it.
Now, the chutney is ready...If required, you can garnish it like any other chutney like kadugu,karuvepilai, kadalai parppu, ulunthu ellam thalichu mix it with that..
